Fatal Attractions is about a one sided love affair between humans and wild animals. This show is fascinating. It shows how humans become obsessed with wild animals and try to humanize them. All types of animals are profiled from a man keeping a lion in an apartment in Harlem to a couple sharing their home with a smelly Buffalo to a man keeping multiple reptiles in a small apartment. They share their homes and their property with these animals and never believe that they will hurt them. Of course they are wrong.  The different ways these people are killed is always cruel and painful. Their obsession makes them blind to the fact that these animals are not meant to live in crapped apartments, houses or their backyards. They’re meant to live in the wild. They treat the animals excellently and love them unconditionally but that is not enough to change their behavior. I’m a huge animal lover but do not believe that we should try to keep them from their natural homes. I no longer support circuses and am not a huge fan of zoos. The only reason I still support some zoos is because of the work they do to help animals. I hope this show can help someone out there realize that they need to return these animals to their natural habitat before it costs them their lives.
